ElliptiGO Launches Virtual Ride & Fundraiser and Limited-Edition Bikes Benefiting Stand Up To Cancer

Elliptical cycling pioneer invites riders to ride, raise funds for life-saving research

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – ElliptiGO, the world leader and pioneer of both elliptical and stand up cycling, is rallying riders across the globe to make miles into meaningful contributions for Stand Up To Cancer® (SU2C). The ElliptiGO Virtual Stand Up & Ride Fundraiser to benefit Stand Up To Cancer will take place on September 17 and 18, 2022, and can be completed anywhere on the bike of your choice. The brand will also be offering limited-edition SU2C-branded ElliptiGO bikes in celebration of the stand-up collaboration. To register for the virtual ride and shop the bikes, visit www.elliptigo.com/elliptigo-collaboration-with-stand-up-to-cancer

Riders are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $25 to Stand Up To Cancer, through GoFundMe, to participate in the Virtual Ride. Riders can complete any distance they choose as an individual or a team. All participants are encouraged to invite friends and family to join the virtual ride and make a donation to Stand Up To Cancer.

“Cancer has touched the lives of so many of us here at ElliptiGO HQ and in our community,” said Bryce Whiting, Chief Enthusiast and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ElliptiGO. “The opportunity to make this collaboration a reality is personal for me. My mom is a three-time cancer survivor. My father has had melanoma. I’m looking forward to seeing our community of over 35,000 ElliptiGO riders come together to Stand Up To Cancer!”

“Cancer remains the second leading cause of death in the United States, so it is critical that we continue to fund groundbreaking research to support the development of new cancer treatments,” said Russell Chew, president and CEO of Stand Up To Cancer. “Thanks to the support of companies like ElliptiGO and its customers, we are able to fund innovative research across many cancer types and are making tremendous progress in cancer treatments, prevention and early detection.”

Limited-edition SU2C-branded ElliptiGO bikes are now available for pre-order. Customers can choose from ElliptiGO’s popular 11R elliptical bike and RSUB, the road stand up bike. The bikes feature a sleek black frame with SU2C’s branding and colors.  20% of the purchase price of each bike sold on elliptigo.com from August 1, 2022 – August 1, 2024 will be donated to SU2C with a minimum guaranteed donation of $25,000.

Stand Up To Cancer raises funds to accelerate the pace of cancer research to get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now. For more information about Stand Up To Cancer, visit standuptocancer.org.
